This must be one of the hardest and most philosophical topics I know
of.
In most cultures of course, killing - no matter the reason - is wrong. And I
stand to protect that belif. What the Kira suporters failed to see was to look
beyond the ideals of a single man. And the madia - Kira's main source of
information - is never a trustfull sorce. Some reporters would
"fabricate" storis = not true. So Kira would judge a man who would
turn out to be innocent if there would be a investigation like the ones L
usually makes. And on the other hand, some other people, who are actually guilty
have their actiones coverd by the media.
Manny people who had died deserved to have lived, and manny of those that are
alive should have been better of dead. Who can actually judge them, break down
every posible posibiliy and say who has the right to live and who to dye. Not
even the wises can not say, for nobody can forsee the fortune. Who knows? Maybe
one of the people who had died could have had a child that would eventually grow
up to find the cure for cancer. The posibilities are endless!
It is not our place to be judges, to decide if one is guilty and the other not.
In the end, only our true God can do that. I like to belive he had a plan for
every one of us. We are not born to simply dye. Everybody has a certain
influence over the world - for better ore for worst. And if we take that away
then there is no telling what could happen, ore what would have happened.
And then there is that concept of "necesarry evil". I must agree that
if the would would be "perfect" then our greatest nightmare would come
true. Kira failed to see that. Perfection is only a dream for the foolish -
perfection can not exist, for that woud mean there can never be anything better
then that. And without that, then man kind has no other purpase in life.
L was right when he claimed Kira was a selfish child - he could not understand
the universal need for evil. For without evil - there would be no good. Only
white, whotout black ore gray, can never make a picture - can never make a life.
I am not saing killing is not wrong ore that killers should not be punished -
but that killing, in the simple meaning of the word, is not something right to
do.
I know I haven't been active for the longest of time, but it seam I am not
alone. That is why, we are calling back all troups to help bring this group back
to life!
I have recently made a new layout for the group's page, but somehow I get the
feeling that it's not going to be enough. That is why I turn to you, the
wonderfull memebers of DGM BF! We all have imagination, so give your own little
contribution to the group! Provide a link to a fanfic you think it's worth
reading, make a wallpaper/doujinshi ore share a scan, recomend us some doujinshi
ore simply comment on the latest manga chapter.
And don't forget about the curent contest! Even though I haven't spoken to the
other admins about it, I will add a extra special prize if I see some activity.
(look around my gallery and then consider if it's worth your time)
I say it is a wonderful idea! You can count on me!
I have more then enough ideas.
Well, making some original fan-art sound interesting. That would prove it's self
as quite a challage so, maybe it might work. Plus, people are more proune at
making fan art then original art.
Right now I'm kind of working on two. I am close to finishing B for Bandit by
Sue Grafton (a mystery novel - my kind
of novel), but then I ran into "The mystery of the Blue Train" (needs
actual english name translation) by Agatha Christie. I couldn't leave it out of
my hand. And tought I started ut yesterday (when I baught it) I am closer to
finishing it more then the previous one. Maybe because I'm used to Chritie's
writing stile (read 11 previous books by her). After I finish this one I think
I'll head back to B for Bandit (I heard it's better then A for Aliby - read that
oe too - and thought I only read the first half of it, I think it might be
true).
After that, I think I'll head back to something more ... japanese. I just got
RING 1 by Koji Suyuki and plan on reading it. I saw the movie, but after reading
RING 2 I noticed there was more to it then just what Holliywood had to offer. So
I got the book too. Think I'll be done with it all in about a week if I put my
mind to it. After that, who knows ... I'll just keep browsing book shops - and
hopefully find Crime in the Orient Express before my term finals.
(p.s. mystery and thriller are the tipes I fell most at ease with, plus I'm
starting to figure out who the killer is before I reach the end - at least with
Sue Grafton, Christie still surprises me with her endings [still not over the ed
in The Crime From Mesopotania)
I remember things from the time I was 2, a lot more from the time I was 3 and I
think it's no need to speak of my other years. I did play pretend many times
with my parnts and friends, but I never realy rushed and said that I wanted to
grow up faster. I was always pleased with myself and never wished to be other
then what I was then, at that moment. You can say I was the kind of child that
was treasuring today, and not tomorrow.
How much I miss those sunny days of my life
Present! Shure, I can make it. Just need to find a good image and make myself
some time. I still have a few requests to do, but you can think of it as
"on it".
By the way, would you guys like pink? Ore maybe a pale green-blue, ya' know.
Well, I guess I'll have time to think it over.
Mine are:
Kikyo (Inuyasha)
Lenalee Lee (D.Gray-man)
Rukia Kuchiki (Bleach)
Enma Ai (Hell Girl)
Chii (Chobits)
Koaru (Samurai xxx)
and there may be more but Kikyo still trownes as top of the list!
I never fell asleep in class before, but once I was like this close. I don't
know exaactely what it was - histtory folowed by byology - but by the time we
came to byology (it wasn't such a interesting lesson eather) my hand was like
taking notes withouth me. If it wouldn't have been moving, I like sure would
have fallen asleep. I was like dooing everything in my subconcioseness, like a
robot.
The strange thig was that I wasn't the only one feeling like a cat. ALL my
classmates were having the same simdrome. To tell the truth, 3 of them actualy
DID sleep dooring class. (I went to wash my face right afterwords otherwise I
would have slept in coreagrefy - the gim was full so we did it in class)
First of, I apologise if this thread already exists. I browsed around, but I
haven't seen anything like this.
Now, usualy manga fans from all around the world can't wait for the appearence
of a manga volume in their own contry, so they prefer to read the raw version
that appears on the net (ore the scanlations). Then, after a long time, the
volume of said manga appears in your contry. Now here's my question: will you
buy it even though you have already read it?
Personaly I say it depends a great deal on the manga and how much it costs, but
that's just my say. What's yours?
I start counting sheep and if I reach 100 withought the numbers going haywire I
get a glass of milk then cont them again till finally I count no more ... zzzz
Can't realy say one of them. It has to be a littke bit of work. The best job you
can do is one that falls in the same category with your favorit hobby - in a
way.
Let me give a little example:
Let's hipoteticaly(?) say that you like drawing and you would like to become a
artist. That's fine and all, but there is a problem: not everybody likes your
works and you find yourself with no buyers, thus you get no money to pay for
your food nor work ecupments, and with no tuels ore good helth you can't
continue working and thus would end up as a bager. If you are a great artist and
people buy your work like hot bread, then good for you, but you must think of
the worst thing that wouldhaappen when you get a easy job. Usualy the fun-filled
ones are badly payed and at a point get exhausteful - think of clowns (that is
usualy a part-time-job teenagers do when they are desperate - they erne almost
nothing). The best thing you can do, is go up a level. If you are good in arts,
you should work for a design company ore something close to that. At firt the
pay won't be all the best, but you'd have a sure enough job and you would get
payed - plus the aterials will be on the companies ecpence :-P And what's good
with this is that you'll get to retire peacefully and enjoy the remaining ears
of your life in a nice house surrounded by grandchildren.
Still, to make matters clear, I am not asking you to enter a word of pure
buisness where you can only work and sleep, work and speel ... Buisness men have
major-big salaries, but they have no life either. No family to great them and no
friends to stay close to them. That is not a life.
The best option is to find a job that combines both trades - money and fun (it
is posible). Don' go for what's easy, go for wat's wise. You will have to ear
your living and why not your whife's/husband's and children. Plus there will be
a time when your parents will retire and you will have to support them too - in
a way. So think of it as a investment for the future, and also for the
present.
The easy way is not always to best way. Think of all the aspects and decide what
the best way is.
not even close!
I am not in the least redy to do so. I have waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy to many things to
learn bore I can even thik of dooing one. Don't you belive me? Take a look at
what I do --> my
gallery
I don't know how to to do shades, I am helpless when it comes to proportions -
especialy when it comes to perspective - and I ... need a lot of work ^^'
